Suzuki
Voice Teacher Training (ESA and PPSA) continues with the ESA Teacher Trainers Mette
Heikkinen, Katrina Pezzimenti and Dr. Päivi Kukkamäki (Instructor Analia Capponi-Savolainen).
SAA Suzuki Voice Short-Term courses continue with the SAA Suzuki
Voice Teacher Trainers Mary Hofer, Katrina Pezzimenti and Dr. Kukkamäki.
The training will be every year:
in
February and in June (Vantaa, Finland)
in April
(Melbourne, Australia)
in August
(Stevens Point, Wisconsin, USA)
in
November and in June (La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina).
Katrina
Pezzimenti, Mary Hofer and Dr. Kukkamäki participated in the International
Teacher Trainer’s
Conference in Boston, MA, USA October 8th—11th ,
2009. Analia Capponi-Savolainen,
Mervi Sipola-Maliniemi and Dr. Kukkamäki participated the ESA Leadership Conference
in Cambridge, UK September 17th —19th, 2010.
The 9th International “Songs for Sharing” Suzuki Voice Workshop
and training was held in Finland
June 21st —July 2nd, 2010. Workshop activities: Teacher
Training, Teaching in
Practise
in all levels, Teachers’ exams, opening at Ministery, Gala Recital at Alexander
Theatre, lessons
for students and teachers, opera master class for advanced students, Suzuki
Voice 24-
year exhibition,
four “Songs for Sharing” recitals at Lumme Hall and at Saint Laurent’s Church, trip to
Sibelius’ Ainola and country presentations and teachers’ meetings at Stansvik
Villa. Participants
came from 10 countries: Argentina, Australia, Finland, Ireland, Japan/Great-Britain,
Mexico, Spain, Sweden and USA. Exams: Level One (ESA), Primary Level
Stage One (PPSA):
Guerrero Moreno Aldo Adrian (Mexico), Molinero Julian (Argentina) and Seyssel Amelia
(USA) and Level Three (ESA), Intermediate Level (PPSA): Jaume Fargas (Spain). We are
happy to report that the first Suzuki Voice Student who started the Program in pregnancy 21 years ago studies opera singing in Vienna with Professor Irina Gavrilovici (Autumn
2010à). ESA level 2 exam February 2011 in
Finland: Amelia Seyssel (USA). Congratulations
to everybody!
ESA Teacher Training panel will be held in Brussels,
Belgium March 26th—27th, 2011. Voice will have the
first time own representative in the ESA Board meetings. ESA Instrument
Director for Voice is Dr. Kukkamäki and Deputy Instrument Director is Katrina
Pezzimenti. Suzuki Voice Group will be traveling to Słupsk,
Poland April, 2011 (recitals, demonstrations and lecture). New Musical for
Suzuki Voice Students will be composed 2011. The 10th International “Songs for Sharing” Suzuki Voice Workshop
will be held in Melbourne,
Australia January 2nd —7th, 2012 and the 11th at Mexico 2014.
We are
still waiting for the Suzuki Voice Volumes to be published! The Materials will
be available
only to accredited Suzuki Voice teachers, accepted Teachers-in-training and
their
students.
The ISA Suzuki Voice Committee has a list of Suzuki Voice teachers who are
eligible to
purchase the materials. The Accredited Suzuki Voice teachers’ list is also in
